A Kindness Project...
1000 Hearts is a kindness project that started in 2016 by Sarah De Jonge in Tasmania to spread some love and compassion.
The project is based around small pocket hearts which are handmade from wool felt and stitched with love and good intentions. These hearts are then offered to people as a symbol of compassion, care and kindness.
Leesa the owner of Sewing Adventures received an amazing heart from Claire who is part of our sewing community. The project really touched her and so we are here to spread the love of the 1000 Hearts project in our community.
The workshop sessions are free and we asking families to come together, learn together and create together.
All equipment will be supplied for the free workshop but we will have some small kits available on the day if you wish to become a full fledged Heartist and take some home to sew and give!
Please read our booking terms and conditions for our classes before purchase.
