Have you completed our Beginner Basics Course and are looking to continue your Sewing Adventures?  This course is the perfect next step in your journey. 

If you have done our Stretch Basics and Overlocker this journey will be perfect for you to grow your skills using an indie pattern to create a classic wrap dress!

Meet the Cashmerette Appleton Dress, your new wardrobe staple! This classic knit wrap dress is designed to play up your curves, with a crossover front, a built-in waist tie, and a deep V-neck. The Appleton’s innovative neckband construction prevents gaping across your bust, and Cashmerette’s C – H cup sizing means you’ll feel comfortable without adjustments.  Don't worry if your cup size is smaller it creates a perfect fit too!

Over the two, we will cover our measurements and sizing, prep and cut our pattern including grading between sizing, moving on to cutting our fabric, and creating our dress.

Recommended fabric is Light to midweight knit fabric such as jersey, brushed poly or ITY, with at least 50% crosswise stretch. We have a Course Intro Video for this class to help you with your fabric purchases.

You will need to bring/supply:

• Your sewing machine and sewing kit
• Materials such as fabric, PDF pattern downloads/purchase, pattern printing and elastic for the class projects (the estimated cost of materials is $50). Details of these will be provided in the first class. (No materials required for Week 1).
• Pins, bobbins, dressmaking shears, thread etc.
