Have you completed our Beginner Basics Course and looking to continue your Sewing Adventures? 

Each sewing pattern is carefully curated to introduce a new key sewing technique, to build your skills and knowledge, whilst expressing your creativity in making awesome clothes for you.  Expand your sewing skills with new and fun projects. Learn more about working with pdf patterns, start using new fabrics and refresh your beginner learning lessons.  Our Wardrobe Basics journey has a garment focus where you learn to create and sew clothes for you!

The Projects Include:

• The Ashton Top from Helen's Closet - cropped or hip length with sleeves (6-26)
• Self Drafted Skirt - Learn to draft your own pattern! Any size!
• Opal Pants by Megan Nielsen - relaxed fit pants with in seam pockets (0-30) 

The Ashton Top is a amazing wardrobe staple and in V2 we will be making a version with sleeves and neck facing with the choice of 2 lengths.  The pattern includes B and D cup sizes. The pattern will be supplied and you will have the tools to continue to create and make the versatile top in other versions. PDF Pattern included in course valued at $30

After some extensive testing we have changed our skirt to a Simple Self Drafted Skirt.  We will teach you all the basics of drafting the skirt to your size or any size.  Featuring inseam or patchy pockets, any length you desire and an elastic waist. A full pack will be provided so you can draft at home again and again.

The Opal Pants are relaxed fit pants set with mix and match options. Pattern includes paperbag or standard elastic waistband, inseam or patch pockets, back pockets, belt loops, an optional belt and multiple lengths. In the course we will be making view B which are a wide leg pant with an elastic waist and inseam pockets. Printed pattern included in course valued at $32

You will need to bring/supply:

• Your sewing machine and sewing kit
• Materials such as fabric, and elastic for the class projects (the estimated cost of materials is $100). Details of these will be provided after booking.  
• Pins, bobbins, dressmaking shears, thread etc.
