We want our Moorooka Sewing Studio to be a fabulous hub.... a place where people can learn, explore, meet, socialise and expand their sewing skills.

Part of this dream is a sewing resource library with sewing books, magazines and patterns - both old and new - that our members can share and borrow. We have been gathering for about a while now and it is slowing coming together.

Visitors to the studio will have access to the library - to borrow any of the resources you will need to become a Sewing Adventures Member. The cost of Membership is $20 and will allow you to take rescources home for one week at a time.

Recent and vintage sewing patterns will also be available at $1 each and are being sorted for easy reference. Old, new, vintage - the collection is growing and you might find a pattern that suits you perfectly or even have a laugh at what life was like 30 years ago!

We are also very interested in purchasing quality sewing books and collections to add to the Library, so please contact us if you have something to offer. And if you see a sewing book in an op shop at a great price, that you think would suit us then grab it and we will pay you back.
