Katrina, or Miss Kat (to the kids) - is a fabric lover. Some, may say a fabric addict but we prefer a fabric connoisseur with an amazing fabric stash.
Katrina has some fabulous advice in order to help you keep your own collection fabulous and ready to sew the second you find the perfect pattern.
✂️ The moment that fabric comes through the front door - head straight to the laundry. Yes in the wash it goes, with not a second to waste. Of course follow any instructions that are required for that fabric.
✂️ Use a Colour Catcher! These amazing little white sheets absorb any excess dye they are a must have.
✂️ Katrina them pops any woven fabrics straight in the dryer and others out into the sunshine to dry.
✂️ Once dry give them a press and fold them neatly to prevent extra creases.
So it is that easy! Clean fabric that is pre-shrunk free of anything left over in the manufacturing process and ready to start your sewing project.
