Have you completed our Beginner Basics Course and looking to continue your Sewing Adventures?

Meet the Bestie Bag From Blackbird Fabrics! From everyday errands to life's greatest adventures, this bag will be your cute new sidekick. The Bestie Bag is a banana-shaped carry-all companion with four different views, so you can tailor its size, straps, and pockets to suit your needs and style!

There are so many options but we will be teaching the medium size flat front and provide all the main essentials!

Once you have made one you’ll be able to make more - cross-body or as a shoulder bag with a sturdy webbing or fabric strap, with or without hardware. Equipped with a zip enclosure to keep everything safe, your cute new sidekick awaits!

Learning lessons: 

• Professional teaching in a fun and friendly environment

• 5 hours of sewing tuition in a group of up to 8 students

You will need to bring/supply:

• Your sewing machine although we do offer the use of studio machines if required
• You will be provided with a class kit including hardware, a zip, base fabric and interfacing.
• Lining fabric of your choice
• Your sewing kit including pins, bobbins, dressmaking shears, thread etc.
